Alert - Opportunity for Musicians!

You know how stores keep putting up their holiday decorations earlier and earlier each year? I mean, we've barely recovered from the sweltering heat of summer and we're supposed to be inspired to Christmas shop by the strains of "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose..."

Don't you just hate that?

Well, get over it. Because if you're a musician and you can get yourself in the holiday spirit before October 30th, you might have the opportunity to get your music heard by a major music company that licenses to all the major studios, networks, etc. for films, TV shows, etc.

Here's the deal: this company is looking for holiday music submissions by independent artists for immediate Film and TV placements. So whether your sound is Urban, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock, Alternative, Trip Hop, Reggae, Jazz or Country, they are seeking unique takes on old favorites. "Something different, something that will change the way people hear Jingle Bells forever." Original songs will also be considered.

Your music MUST meet the following requirements:

1. You must own 100% of the master recording rights.

2. The work must be an original work (i.e., you own the copyright), OR the songs must be Public Domain (check this website to determine if your song qualifies.)

3. Any samples used must be cleared or original

4. Send Holiday Music ONLY

Submission Deadline: Friday, October 30, 2007.
